Mrs. Erin Uppinghouse

Executive Principal 

Mrs. Erin Uppinghouse brings more than 20 years of educational experience in Illinois and Tennessee, having served in roles including assistant principal, literacy coach, numeracy coach, general education teacher, and reading interventionist. She holds a bachelor's degree in education and a master's degree in educational administration from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Welcome to Glencliff Entrepreneurship STEAM Magnet Elementary School! I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Glencliff Elementary. I am passionate about education and committed to cultivating an environment in which all children experience a sense of belonging, discover excitement for learning, and demonstrate academic growth and achievement. Our learning experiences foster collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking, which will motivate our students to become local and global problem solvers. I am committed to positively influencing, motivating, and nurturing each child to ensure they exceed their potential and become lifelong learners.
